The Monsummano company awarded with 2 Golden Bars 2023, 3 Twenty Year Awards and 8 Excellence Awards. Among the winners also the new Slitti product - Calabacita Figs stuffed with sambuca - presented as a preview in the Covered Fruit category.

Florence, February 2023 – Slitti ( ), the Chocolate Factory of Monsummano Terme, in the province of Pistoia, one of the excellences of the so-called “Chocolate Valley Tuscany”, wins prizes at Taste Firenze , the event reference point to discover the best companies, iconic products and food & beverage trends.

On the occasion of the Golden Tablets awards ceremony, the chocolate Oscar (held within Taste) and one of the most authoritative quality chocolate awards in Italy, created by the Compagnia del Cioccolato, the association active for the longest of 25 years, with more than a thousand members who aim with these awards to provide a complete analysis of the chocolates on sale in Italy and orientation for its members and for all consumers, Slitti has been awarded with over 13 awards : in fact, 2 Golden Bars have been won for 2023, 3 have won the 20th Anniversary Awards and 8 have been mentioned as Chocolates of Excellence.

For the 2023 Tavoletta d'Oro award, two products created by Andrea Slitti were winners: one - the "Calabacita Figs Stuffed with Sambuca" - presented as a preview, which won first place in the "Covered Fruit" category; the second - the "Pralina Slitti al Caffè Turco" - won first prize in the "Praline" category.

The Taste in Florence was also the opportunity to deliver the special "Twenty Year Awards", a recognition awarded in 2022 to the best winning chocolates in the last twenty years for each category: here, Slitti was awarded in the "Dark" category, where first place in the twentieth anniversary award went to SLITTI Gran Cacao 73%, a blend of fine cocoa from Central America destined to satisfy the most demanding gourmet thanks to its balanced acidity, fusion and aroma; in the “High Milk %” category, where SLITTI Lattenero 45% was awarded , with its perfect balance between cocoa, milk and sugar which makes it a unique product of its kind: finally, in the “Spreadables” category with the iconic Riccosa , the milk chocolate cream made sweet and fragrant by 51% selected Langhe hazelnuts and cocoa.
