Monsummano Terme (PT), March 2023 - Fine blends of milk and dark chocolate that act as a canvas for the pastel-coloured decorations of the chocolate eggs of the "Fantasy Line". This is the proposal for Easter 2023 from Maitre Chocolatier Andrea Slitti ( www.slitti.it ), one of the most important and recognized artisan chocolatiers in the world. The Pasqua Slitti line arrives a few weeks after the award ceremony at the Italy Food Awards for the "Artisan Chocolaterie" category and the two Golden Bars awarded at Taste 2023 in Florence.


The "Fantasy Line", handcrafted in the Monsummano Terme Chocolate Factory , in the province of Pistoia, was created to enhance the selection of excellent raw materials, expressing all the mastery of Andrea Slitti in the composition of true works of art. The “Tartufovo” , available in the milk and dark variant, contains a decoration made up of a base of “Tartufi”, one of over 40 variations of Slitti pralines and a colorful chocolate duck; the “Campagna” Egg , on the other hand, has a base of puffed rice covered in milk chocolate, reminiscent of “Ricci”, another variant of the Slitti praline selection. Among the various decorations, there is also the more playful "Gruyere" theme , which portrays a mouse intent on eating a piece of cheese, also obviously made of white chocolate.


The Slitti company was founded as a coffee roaster in 1969, distinguishing itself from the beginning for the care and processing of the product. In 1989, the founder's sons, Andrea and Daniele, expanded the company's offering, including cocoa processing. Today, Andrea Slitti is recognized as one of the most important artisan chocolatiers in the world: an expert cocoa selector, he entrusts the creation of his recipes to his palate, which have led him to win over 180 awards for the quality of his chocolate.
